We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Engineer to join our Water Utilities team in Adelaide. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the technical quality of water and wastewater infrastructure design projects.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver structural design solutions for water and wastewater infrastructure projects from concept design to detailed design.
- Contribute to the design team by actively assisting colleagues in achieving improved client feedback results, enhance satisfaction, and exceed client expectations.
- Assist in preparing and coordinating high-quality proposals and pursuits.
- Develop and mentor emerging professionals.
- Work collaboratively with a local and national team.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven local design experience, ideally in a consultancy environment.
- Chartered Engineer advantageous or actively working towards chartered status.
- Experience in detailed design of water and wastewater infrastructure projects, with specific experience in water retaining structures, pipeline, pump station design and treatment plants.
- Able to produce technical reports to a high standard requiring minimal correction; and provide final review of reports.
- Good knowledge of relevant industry-related Australian Standards and WSAA codes would be advantageous.
- Understanding of related safety in design practices and processes.
- Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
