Job Description:

The Nursing Unit Manager role at Graythwaite Rehabilitation Centre involves strategic and operational leadership of the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality, and person-centred rehabilitation care.

The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team to achieve optimal patient outcomes through evidence-based practice, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and effective resource management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse-Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) and relevant management tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven ability to lead, support, and develop a clinical team within a multidisciplinary environment, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and digital skills with proficiency in clinical systems, rostering, and documentation to support effective team coordination and patient care.
