Job Title: Area Development Manager

Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving growth and development in a designated area. This is a strategic leadership role that requires strong commercial, operational, and interpersonal skills.

This all-encompassing position entails coaching and developing the competencies of team members to enhance their performance and career progression. It also involves prioritizing business performance through tracking key performance indicators, reporting, and creating effective strategic plans.

As a leader, you will be expected to set an example by prioritizing customer experience and being prepared to step in whenever support is needed. You must also demonstrate a commitment to lifelong learning, embracing on-the-job training and other opportunities to grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive area growth through leadership, team coaching, and business development.
  • Develop, coach, and manage staff performance.
  • Implement strategies to drive business and sales.
  • Prior experience in residential and commercial lending is essential.
  • Strong communication skills to deliver clear expectations.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial management, business acumen, and risk framework.
  • Able to drive operational efficiencies and maintain high standards of compliance.
  • Deep knowledge of lending products, policies, and regulations.
  • Familiarity with retail branch operations.
