Our company offers a wide range of products and services, from simple hose and fittings to complex hydraulic and pneumatic system integration.
The Position: As a Senior Application Engineer based in our Sydney Hills District offices, this role is primarily responsible for collaborating with customers and their Territory Managers to provide engineering and design support for hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation projects. Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing hydraulic and electro-hydraulic systems based on customer requirements and industry standards.
- Engaging with clients to gather specifications and providing tailored engineering solutions.
- Conducting simulations and analyses to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Preparing comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, project reports, and user manuals.
- Supporting the sales team by providing technical expertise during customer presentations and product demonstrations.
- Ensuring all designs adhere to relevant safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Participating in initiatives to enhance product performance and reduce costs.
- Contributing to the organization's strategic objectives through active engagement in the LEAN Program.
The Package: The successful candidate will be offered a competitive package, including a base salary of up to $130k PA + Superannuation, and an incentive bonus scheme paid annually (average 10% - 20% of salary).
Requirements: To be considered for this role, candidates must have a Mechanical Engineering Degree and a strong understanding of hydraulic systems. Knowledge of pneumatics and industrial automation is also an advantage. The ideal candidate will have experience within a hydraulic engineering team, strong knowledge of CAD software and simulation tools, strong technical communication skills, and experience dealing with external and internal stakeholders.
