Job Title

The Aerodrome Maintenance Program Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe operation of RAAF Aerodromes. This position involves planning and monitoring the implementation of the Aerodrome Maintenance Program across all aerodromes, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

This coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Organising workflow and making independent decisions to execute the Aerodrome Maintenance Program;
  • Providing direct support to the Aerodrome Maintenance Program Sponsor;
  • Liaising with internal and external service providers to oversee priorities and provide advice;
  • Ensuring aerodrome maintenance schedules and routines meet design requirements;
  • Maintaining technical inspections to confirm facilities remain fit for purpose;
  • Engaging suitably qualified personnel to conduct aerodrome maintenance activities;
  • Monitoring industry developments influencing aerodrome maintenance requirements;
  • Participating in oversight and assurance activities to ensure compliance with standards and requirements.

Key Responsibilities Include:

Technical Inspection And Maintenance - Maintaining technical inspections to confirm facilities remain fit for purpose;
Work Flow Management - Organising workflow and making independent decisions to execute the Aerodrome Maintenance Program;
Aerodrome Maintenance - Ensuring aerodrome maintenance schedules and routines meet design requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Strong organisational skills, ability to work autonomously and excellent communication skills are required for this role. Experience with regulatory systems supporting safety outcomes and auditing or assurance systems is highly desirable.
