About this role: Specialist Surgical Nurse
- Working in a surgical ward, your role will include specialties as orthopaedic and neurosurgery, urology, upper gastrointestinal, general surgery, plastic surgery, vascular surgery, and breast and endocrine surgery.
Your skills will include the following:
- Currently registered as a nurse with the relevant authority.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a surgical unit.
- Demonstrated computer literacy with email and an electronic patient record system.
- Previous experience within a hospital setting will be well regarded.
- Passion for delivering quality patient-centred care.
- Ability to manage shift work (including day & night shifts) over 7 days.
We support continuing education for all staff through our education department and have clinical nurse educators on the ward.
