Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Worker to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in supporting the physical, emotional, and lifestyle needs of our residents.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality personal care and hygiene services to our residents, promoting their independence and dignity at all times. You will work closely with our registered nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and hygiene services to residents, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support residents with their daily living needs, such as eating, drinking, and using the bathroom
  • Assist residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans, working collaboratively with healthcare professionals to meet the unique needs of each resident
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
  • Experience working in aged care or a related field, with a strong understanding of the needs and preferences of older adults
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, family members, and colleagues
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing workload effectively
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
