Allied Health Support Specialist

As a Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting clients with difficulties relating to speech, language, social communication, developmental delays, ASD, and ADHD.
We are a mobile Speech Pathology clinic providing goal-focused therapy services to the community. Our team works collaboratively with clients, their families, carers/support workers, and other Allied Health Professionals to deliver exceptional care.
The successful candidate will have opportunities to work with a great team of Therapists and other therapy assistants, as well as external supports and networks like schools, kindergartens, families, and carers.
Key requirements include comfort working with various childhood and/or adult conditions such as ASD, ODD, ADHD, developmental delays, learning disabilities, Down syndrome, Cerebral palsy etc. The ideal candidate should be open to professional and personal development relevant to their position.
Our organization offers regular supervision and support, ongoing professional development and learning opportunities, manageable caseloads tailored to suit professional interests, flexible hours, above award pay rates, part-time and casual positions, and no weekend work unless requested.
