We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Wellbeing Carer. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents by creating a nurturing environment that fosters their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

As a Wellbeing Carer, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with daily living activities, such as mealtimes and outings, and providing emotional support to residents with cognitive impairment or mental health needs.
  • Organizing and leading engaging activities, such as art classes, gardening clubs, day trips, and movie nights, to promote social interaction and a sense of belonging among residents.
  • Collaborating with the care team to plan and implement resident-centered activities and ensuring that all activities meet the unique needs and interests of our residents.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and following established guidelines for hygiene and safety.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Requirements:

  • Previous experience in caring for elders within an Aged Care or community setting.
  • First Aid Certificate (or willing to get one).
  • Australian driver's licence preferable.
