**Role Overview**:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide personalized care and support to individuals with disabilities, assisting them in daily activities and promoting their independence and well-being. Your work will be guided by the values of love, family, and honesty, ensuring every person feels valued, heard, and supported.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide assistance with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and mobility support.
- Promote independence by encouraging individuals to make their own choices and participate in community activities.
- Develop and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients based on care, respect, and communication.
- Support clients with emotional well-being and offer companionship, ensuring a positive and supportive environment.
- Collaborate with a team of professionals and family members to create and implement individual care plans.
- Assist with transportation to appointments, activities, and social events.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with company and legal requirements.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times.

**Key Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in disability support or a related field is preferred but not required.
- A genuine passion for supporting individuals with disabilities and promoting inclusion.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to our values of love, family, and honesty in all interactions.
- A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle (if applicable).
- A current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $31.46 - $41.76 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 38 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
