Project Engineer

Lycopodium is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team of project delivery experts. As a Project Engineer, you will play a critical role in the planning, designing, evaluating, execution, and handover of assigned projects in accordance with company, client, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning and Execution: Assist the Project Manager and his team to ensure the quality of deliverables aligns with the needs of the project/study, company objectives, client requirements, and regulatory requirements.
- Procurement and Inspection: Assist with procurement, inspection, and expediting activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of project requirements.
- Site Engineer Duties: Carry out assigned project activities, including site engineer duties, in a manner that prioritizes safety, environment, community, and quality.
- Project Schedule and Budget Management: Assist in regularly maintaining the project/study schedule and budget, including change management.
- Investigation and Reporting: Undertake investigation and prepare reports as directed by the Project Manager.
- Quality Management: Participate in the Project quality management process, including carrying out inspections at vendor's premises and reviewing vendor quality documentation.
- Qualifications: Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering qualification or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 5 years post-graduate engineering experience in the heavy Industrial, Chemical, Energy, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or Manufacturing sectors.
- Project Management: PMBOK or equivalent project management qualification favorable.
- Communication and Collaboration: Ability to influence stakeholders both written and verbal across different cultures.
- Technical Aptitude: Solid technical aptitude, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Travel: Ability to travel as part of Project requirements, including being based on national and international sites from time to time, as per Company Policies.
