Our team needs a skilled Civil Designer to work on our complex projects and in tough environments. Delivering innovative solutions is what we do.

We have a growing pipeline of awarded work, which requires us to expand our design team.

About the role:

  • Provide platform, access road, drainage and associated infrastructure design knowledge and supervision of civil project design team while working on deliverables.
  • Prepare, review and sign off on layouts and detail drawings in line with project requirements.
  • Deliver design drafting according to required project timeframes and standards by coordinating and supervising project members, reviewing deliverables and preparing design and detail drawings in line with requirements.
  • Overcome design/schedule issues by maintaining an overview of activity, regularly communicating with the Lead Civil Engineer and addressing issues in a timely manner.

About you:

  • At least 10 years experience in Earthworks, Roadworks, and Drainage design in a relevant industry, e.g., mining, mineral processing, materials handling, and heavy industrial is required.
  • Advanced diploma or equivalent in Engineering is desirable.
  • Extensive experience in Smart Plant 3D, AutoCAD, 12D, or Civil 3d is highly desired.
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills are essential.
