Wood is seeking a Senior Maintenance and Reliability Consultant to join our Operation and Maintenance team. We require professionals with diverse disciplines, including Mechanical, Instrument, or Electrical Engineering, or Maintenance Trades. Ideally, you would be based in our modern Brisbane offices.

In this role, you will report to the Team Lead, working primarily on project work packages and campaigns that will draw on your interpersonal and collaboration skills to deliver the described scope. It takes a diverse range of people to achieve the level of impact Wood has on the global energy sector.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strong background and experience in maintenance and reliability, either a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering, or technical trades qualifications.
  • 7+ years' experience in maintenance and/or reliability engineering.
  • Understanding and articulation of asset management and strategic asset management plans.
  • Understanding and articulation of relationships to Safety Cases and Performance Standards.
  • Recent relevant experience in techniques utilising FMEA, RCM, ECA, PMO, Spares, and Inventory optimisation.
  • Diligent and dependable with a professional demeanour.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills and prior experience in working collaboratively with client organisations on secondment.
  • Operational maintenance experience working in Oil & Gas, Mining, Manufacturing, or Infrastructure sectors is highly desired.
  • Demonstrated safety focus, appreciation for Control of Work protocols, understanding of isolation requirements, and field execution of maintenance.
  • Strong written communication skills for technical presenting and report writing.
  • Asset Management qualifications would be looked on favourably.
