Culinary Experts are needed to lead and inspire kitchen teams in creating delicious meals that meet dietary needs. These individuals will be responsible for preparing and presenting varied, nourishing, and appetizing dishes while ensuring a safe, clean, and efficient kitchen environment.

Leadership skills and passion for delivering exceptional meals are key qualities sought after in this role. Strong communication and collaboration skills are also essential for success. Experience working in a commercial kitchen, ideally in Aged Care or large-scale catering, is highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Leading and supporting kitchen staff, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Collaborating with catering staff, residents, and care teams to enhance meal services
  • Preparing and presenting menus that cater to dietary needs and preferences
  • Managing kitchen finances, including menu planning, budgeting, and stock control

Applicants should have:

  • A relevant trade qualification (Cert III or Cert IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent)
  • Experience working in a commercial kitchen, ideally in Aged Care or large-scale catering
  • Strong leadership and teamwork skills, with the ability to mentor and guide staff
  • Knowledge of safe food handling practices and WHS compliance
  • A valid Queensland Driver's Licence
  • Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
