Job Description

We are seeking a talented software developer to join our team. As a software developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality software applications. You will work on innovative technologies with experienced engineers on the development, delivery, support, and enhancements of our trading systems and infrastructure.

You'll have the opportunity to work on various projects, including designing and developing low-latency trading systems, developing high-performance code for handling market data processes, conducting technology research projects related to scale and performance, and developing applications and services that receive and store trading activity.

This is an excellent opportunity to sharpen your technical skills, learn about the trading industry, and understand the fundamentals of risk-based decision making.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar major, distinction average WAM, from an Australian or New Zealand University
  • Strong software development skills in languages such as C++, C#, Python, or Java
  • A solid knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented design patterns
  • Experience developing performance-sensitive code is a plus
  • Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify a problem, evaluate it, and suggest solutions
  • Ability to collaborate with a team while having the confidence to work independently
