Job Summary:

The Program Manager will work collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver automation and optimisation infrastructure projects across Oceania Ports and Terminals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Project manage activities across technology, vendors, and the internal team.
  • Scope out the project schedule, interdependencies, budget tracking, and monitoring.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and drive strategic initiatives to enhance business processes.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and update the effectiveness of new processes and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures and process maps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new processes and procedures.
  • Proactively build relationships with colleagues, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure coordination and alignment of key stakeholders across multiple phases and deliverables.
  • Attend regular update meetings to agree progress, resolve issues, and manage compromises.
  • Escalate concerns where a deadline may be compromised.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business administration, computer science, finance, or information systems.
  • 5-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst/Project Manager in a similar industry.
  • Experience with automation and robotics, IoT and sensors, AI and machine learning, and software systems.
  • Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, project management, and methodology development.
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills with the ability to apply them to systems issues.
  • Understanding of application development and software development life cycles.
