About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Truck Driver to join our team on a casual basis. As a Seasonal Casual Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering parcels and packages to our customers in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload parcels and packages from our trucks, ensuring they are securely stored and transported.
  • Vehicle Safety Checks: Conduct daily vehicle safety checks to ensure our trucks are in good working condition.
  • Delivery and Collection: Drive our trucks between our operational centers and customers to deliver and collect parcels and packages.
  • Operational Center Returns: Return to our operational centers to unload collected parcels and packages.
Requirements
  • Availability: Be available to work from September through our peak period, with flexibility to work both day and night shifts.
  • HR License: Hold a relevant HR license.
  • Safety Focus: Demonstrate a strong safety focus and understanding of chain of responsibility.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Possess a customer-centric mindset and effective communication skills.
  • Physical Ability: Be fit enough to load and unload parcels and packages of varying shapes, sizes, and weights.
  • Pre-Employment Requirements: Be prepared to provide a driving history report, undergo an Australia Post-specific pre-employment medical, drug/alcohol screening, and national police checks.
