Settlements Officer - Financial Transactions Specialist

About the Role

This role is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Settlements Officer. As a key member of our settlement team, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring that retail contracts are thoroughly checked and accurate, prior to activating and disbursing funds to our business partners.

You will liaise and support our internal sales staff and external business partners in day-to-day operations. This includes providing high levels of customer service, ensuring all customer documentation is approved and compliant with regulations, legislation and policies.

In addition, you will look for opportunities to drive change, improve processes and continually seek business efficiency. Your daily tasks will include attending to transactions within required time frames and providing corrective action where necessary to achieve optimum results.

You will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including Business Development Managers and Account Managers, to ensure transactions are reviewed and settled in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide outstanding customer service to the dealer network and promote a positive message with a can-do attitude.

  2. Ensure all customer documentation is approved and compliant with regulations, legislation and policies.

  3. Look for opportunities to drive change, improve processes and continually seek business efficiency.

  4. Ensure that daily transactions are attended to within required time frames and provide corrective action where necessary to achieve optimum results.

  5. Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including Business Development Managers and Account Managers, to ensure transactions are reviewed and settled in a timely and efficient manner.

  6. Help stakeholders with post-settlement queries and issues.

  7. Assist in the review of practices and processes to drive and implement improvements to meet organisational requirements for policy and legislative requirements.
