Job Title: Court Officer

The role of the Court Officer is pivotal within the Court Support Team.

  • They play a key part in delivering high-quality support services to Judges, Registrars, and their staff, as well as the general public and legal practitioners.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Setting up courtrooms and preparing materials for hearings
  • Operating courtroom technology, including video conferencing equipment
  • Swearing in witnesses and handing up documents

  • Professionalism: maintaining a respectful and courteous demeanor at all times
  • Problem Solving: identifying and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner
