Regional Inventory Manager Position

We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Regional Inventory Manager, responsible for driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and strategic alignment across our supply chain.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in inventory management, leadership, and strategic thinking, with expertise in lean methodologies and data analysis.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement an inventory strategy that aligns with company principles to optimize stock levels and performance.
  • Provide thought leadership and foster alignment with strategic, operational, financial, and customer-centric outcomes across state branches and centres.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing multi-disciplinary team, ensuring collaboration and the adoption of best-in-class processes and techniques.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve logistical challenges.
  • Drive continuous improvement in state inventory practices to enhance company competitiveness.
  • Monitor and report on inventory performance, including KPI tracking, turnover, stock accuracy, and cost management.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Minimum (# years) experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in building high-performing teams, including recruitment, coaching, and performance management.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to formulate strategies that drive commercial value and supplier efficiency.
  • Regional Expertise: Familiarity with state-specific regulations, supplier networks, and logistics.
  • Lean Principles: Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies (e.g., 5S) and history of driving continuous improvement.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis and warehouse management software for forecasting and trend identification.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
