Senior Financial Accountant Role

Luxury travel experiences are driven by forward-thinking people who challenge the status quo. A Senior Financial Accountant will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance, and analysis.

This position requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders across finance, commercial, and operations to provide precise financial information for business decision-making.

  • Process efficiencies will be driven in month-end, reporting, and controls to enable more value-added work.
  • The Senior Financial Accountant will manage end-to-end month-end close, including journals, reconciliations, consolidations, and intercompany processes across international entities.
  • Financial statements, note disclosures, and liaison services with external auditors will be prepared.
  • Compliance with accounting standards, policies, and financial governance will be ensured.
  • Complex accounting treatments, new product/service launches, and ERP/system transformation projects will require support.
  • Analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting will be delivered in partnership with senior finance leaders, business stakeholders, and the broader finance team.
  • Junior staff will be mentored, and strategic initiatives, ad hoc analysis, and continuous improvement will be contributed to.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive process efficiencies in month-end, reporting, and controls

• Manage end-to-end month-end close, including journals, reconciliations, consolidations, and intercompany processes

• Prepare financial statements, note disclosures, and act as key liaison for external auditors

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and financial governance

• Support complex accounting treatments, new product/service launches, and ERP/system transformation projects

• Partner with senior finance leaders, business stakeholders, and the broader finance team to deliver analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting

• Mentor junior staff and contribute to strategic initiatives, ad hoc analysis, and continuous improvement
