The Government Owned Corporations (GOCs) portfolio within our Advisory Division focuses on vital sectors including energy, transport, water, and treasury management.
Role Overview:
This Senior Associate position within the Water team involves conducting comprehensive business, financial, and credit analyses at the entity level to support funding decisions. Additionally, it includes performing program and project-level financial and commercial assessments to guide investment strategies.
Your contributions will play a crucial role in advancing essential water infrastructure projects, enhancing risk management practices, and optimizing financial outcomes for the State Government and local entities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver expert advice on strategic, financial, and commercial dimensions of the water sector to public sector clients.
- Conduct thorough research to remain updated on the latest trends and developments in the water industry, sharing insights with clients and colleagues.
- Perform financial, economic, and statistical modeling and analysis to uncover key insights and formulate strategies for problem-solving and opportunity advancement.
- Communicate findings clearly and effectively, tailoring messages to meet client needs.
- Foster trustworthy and collaborative relationships with all stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Support the growth initiatives of the GOCs portfolio and the wider Advisory Division.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess experience in corporate finance, infrastructure project evaluation, or financial/data modeling. This role is suitable for individuals with backgrounds in accounting, advisory, or banking who are eager to make a meaningful impact in the water sector.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Expertise in corporate finance, infrastructure project evaluation, or financial/data modeling.
- Proficient in conducting financial analyses and producing high-quality reports and presentations.
