We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Nurse Manager to lead our nursing team at the Animal Referral Hospital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to the nursing team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Coordinate patient care activities, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal utilization of resources.
  • Collaborate with veterinarians and other departments to optimize patient outcomes and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate nursing practices to identify areas for improvement and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and continuous learning among the nursing staff.
  • Participate in the emergency or surgery nurse roster as a clinical nurse, depending on skillset and experience.

Requirements

  • Cert IV Qualified Vet Nurse
  • Proven experience in a leadership or management role within a veterinary or animal care setting.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of veterinary nursing practices and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
