About the Role

Mercy Hospital for Women Heidelberg is seeking an experienced Theatre Technician to join their team in a part-time role. The successful candidate will work in a busy 4-theatre complex and have an interest in women's health.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the theatre team in maintaining high standards of patient care and ensuring smooth operating room procedures
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with autonomy and as part of a team
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training to maintain clinical skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes

Requirements

  • Grade 4 Theatre Technician qualification or higher
  • Excellent clinical, time management, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and problem-solve in a dynamic environment
  • Compassionate, flexible, and positive approach to effective patient care and management
  • Current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check
