At Montefiore, we are committed to providing exceptional support services to our clients in Eastern Sydney. We are currently seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a Disability Support Specialist.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to work with our exclusive private clients who require additional support beyond their family and friends network. As a Disability Support Specialist, you will be required to deliver support in a range of capacities and timeframes.

Daily Responsibilities:
  • Personal care (Shower assist, toileting, feeding)
  • Hoist experience (Desirable)
  • Manual Handling (Transferring to and from the bed to shower commode)
  • Social support and companionship
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience working with complex needs, hold a Certificate III in Individual Support or similar, and be available during the week and on weekends. A Covid-19 vaccine is recommended but not mandatory. You will also be required to undergo a National Police Check and NDIS Worker Check.
