Job Title: Business Services Accountant

This is an exciting opportunity for recent Commerce graduates to join our dynamic team as Business Services Accountants in Brisbane. As a Graduate, you will be responsible for providing support to all members of the team to ensure that client, tax and accounting services are completed smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of Income Tax Returns with a focus on increasing knowledge and reducing amendments.
  • Bookkeeping duties performed with attention to detail and developing understanding of all bookkeeping functions.
  • Preparation of BAS's and IAS's with a view towards reducing amendments.
  • Preparation of clear, specific and well-presented workpapers and drafting of queries in a professional manner.
  • Communication with the ATO in relation to basic client matters.
  • Preparation of client correspondence and collation of tax items with high attention to detail.
  • Completion of research for tax, company and superannuation law matters, subject to review by a senior.

Essential Requirements:

  • Recent or upcoming Commerce related degree.
