We're building something different at MTP QLD. No bloat. No layers. Just good people solving real problems for clients, fast, flexibly, and without the usual noise.

We've been in QLD for just over 18 months and we're growing fast.Behind us is the broader MTP group with 500 consultants across cloud, data, apps and more.

We're looking for a value driven, solution oriented, relationship-first business development manager who knows how to sellbothIT contractors and professional services. Someone who brings energy, hustle, curiosity and a network they can activate from day one.

You'll be:

• Opening doors and landing new accounts (70% BD, 30% account growth)
• Selling across contractor resourcing, short-term project work, and scoped consulting gigs
• Partnering with MTP's class leading internal recruiters to fill roles and tech leads to shape proposals
• Building lasting relationships, not transactional wins
• Driving your own pipeline, supported by a responsive, delivery-focused team

You'll need:

• Experience selling IT contractors (must-have)
• Bonus points if you've sold projects, scoped engagements, or managed delivery
• A strong network in QLD you can tap into
• Public sector familiarity is helpful, but not a dealbreaker
• A mindset that values relationships, momentum, and aligned outcomes over red tape

We're after someone who cares. Someone who asks the 'dumb' questions, stays curious, and builds trust by actually listening.

You'll have autonomy, flexibility, and a commission plan that rewards results. It's early enough to make your mark, but established enough that you won't be building from zero. We back each other, celebrate big wins, and keep it human. There's an annual overseas team trip, and we get together nationally for things like the Christmas Party, and Easter. This is a team where culture actually matters, not just a word on the wall.
