We are seeking a seasoned financial professional to provide authoritative and strategic advice on accounting treatment and reporting options for transactions entered into by our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of components of our annual financial report and range of other reporting requirements for various stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues within the finance division, and with external partners including regulatory bodies and auditors.
- Provide technical expertise in financial accounting and operations, including interpreting legislation, accounting policies, and guidelines to ensure statutory compliance.
- Contribute to adherence to relevant legislation, including preparing our annual financial report, supporting input into our financial statements, and managing relationships with regulatory bodies and central agencies.
- A relevant tertiary qualification in accounting is essential (mandatory).
- Full membership of either CPA Australia or CA Australia & New Zealand is highly desirable.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
