Cybersecurity Visionary Wanted

Firesoft People is seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Practice Leader to spearhead our cybersecurity initiatives and drive commercial outcomes.

About the Role:

The Cybersecurity Practice Leader will be responsible for defining the technical and strategic cybersecurity direction of our organization, driving commercial outcomes across all product and service lines, and leading product development across all practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Commercial Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy to drive revenue growth and market share.
  • Strategic Leadership: Provide technical expertise and strategic guidance to the leadership team to inform business decisions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of cybersecurity professionals to achieve business objectives.
  • AI Cyber Platform Development: Collaborate with the development team to design and implement an AI-based cybersecurity platform.
  • Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and product teams.
  • Innovation and Research: Stay up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity threats and technologies, and identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Technical Advisory and Advocacy: Provide technical expertise and advocacy to the leadership team to inform business decisions.
  • Client Engagement and High-Level Consulting: Engage with clients to understand their cybersecurity needs and provide high-level consulting services.
  • Risk Management and Technical Oversight: Develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data.
  • R&D Collaboration: Collaborate with the R&D team to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
  • Reports and collaborates with the Founder and CEO: Provide regular updates to the Founder and CEO on cybersecurity initiatives and progress.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience: 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, particularly in technical leadership and innovation roles.
  • Technical expertise: Strong technical expertise in cybersecurity, including AI and machine learning.
  • Leadership skills: Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of successful team collaboration and innovation.
  • Communication skills: Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
