As a key member of our fundraising team, the Senior Philanthropy Manager is responsible for developing and implementing donor engagement plans and fundraising programs to support St Vincent's mission in Victoria.

  • Key Responsibilities:">
  • Design and deliver donor cultivation strategies that align with St Vincent's strategic priorities.">
  • Manage a portfolio of 65-80 major donors and prospects, cultivating and soliciting contributions to support our mission.">
  • Engage donors with compelling giving propositions and develop personalized relationships to drive fundraising success.">
  • Develop and deliver fundraising materials, including proposals, reports, and other communications, to support donor engagement and stewardship.">
  • Build internal relationships with cross-functional teams to ensure effective collaboration and support donor engagement efforts.">
  • Represent the organization at donor events, conferences, and other external engagements to build relationships and promote our mission.">
  • Maintain accurate donor records and provide data-driven insights to inform fundraising strategies and decisions.">
  • Contribute to broader fundraising efforts, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives.">
  • Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and legislative requirements, maintaining the highest standards of ethics and professionalism in all aspects of the role.">

To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record in philanthropy and fundraising, with experience in managing complex relationships and achieving significant fundraising results.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.

Knowledge of fundraising principles, practices, and trends is also required, as well as the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, marketing, or non-profit management, is preferred, but not required.
