Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Specialist to work on development projects within the public sector. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in engineering within a local government setting.

This role involves reviewing and approving engineering plans for development applications, providing technical advice on traffic and drainage matters, and undertaking investigations to recommend design solutions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Review and approve engineering construction plans for development applications.
  • Provide technical advice on traffic and drainage matters.
  • Conduct engineering investigations and prepare detailed reports.
  • Offer guidance and support to project engineers and surveillance officers.
Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in Engineering is essential.
  • Professional Engineers Registration would be considered an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience in assessing new development proposals.
