The Department of Defence is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Director to join our team. As a key member of our Programme Management Office, you will play a critical role in delivering Defence's large vessel infrastructure mega-project.
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a strategic thinker who can lead and manage complex projects, develop and implement project plans, and ensure timely delivery of results.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage project teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards;
- Develop and implement project plans, including project scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation;
- Coordinate and manage project resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment;
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues as they arise;
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including Defence personnel, industry partners, and government agencies;
