Job Description:
You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our inventory aligns with demand forecasts and supports our overall inventory strategy. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing supply plans that meet demand and stock objectives.
- Delivering cost-effective inventory levels to meet sales demand and exceed customer expectations.
- Minimizing back orders while achieving and surpassing Stock Availability KPIs.
Your efforts will be instrumental in maintaining the balance between supply and demand, driving our success in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and Complete Supply Forecasts: Ensure accurate supply forecasts for the portfolio.
- Resolve Forecast Variances: Address discrepancies between supply forecasts and supplier capacity, lead times, and critical path plans.
- Collaborate with Sourcing Team: Work closely with the Sourcing team to align supply plans.
- Manage Purchase Orders: Oversee the placement, validation, and management of all purchase orders in the portfolio.
- Ensure Timely Delivery: Confirm that all purchase orders meet distribution center timeline requirements.
- Handle Purchase Order Changes: Manage and communicate all changes to purchase orders.
- Review Stock Position: Support the review and reporting of stock positions to ensure inventory performance.
- Coordinate Supplier Relationships: Assist in managing key supplier relationships and provide necessary forecasts.
- Data Management: Review and action data management, capacity planning, and MOQ in coordination with the Sourcing team.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing review and enhancement of supply planning processes.
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A strong commercial mindset with excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar supply planning role.
- Strong proficiency in Excel; Power BI experience is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in negotiating with external vendors.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop and improve processes for enhanced efficiency.
