Job Title: Payroll Financial Specialist

We are seeking a diligent and meticulous Payroll Financial Specialist to ensure our superannuation processes are precise, timely, and fully compliant with ATO regulations and internal financial policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage end-to-end superannuation payments, including Super Guarantee (SG), Salary Sacrifice, and SASS, ensuring full compliance with ATO guidelines.
  • Respond to employee superannuation queries and manage returned payments, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Support third-party payments such as novated leases, union fees, and garnishments.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and manage general ledger/vendor account clearing.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation issues, proposing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance compliance, efficiency, and accuracy in superannuation processes.
  • Evaluate and maintain ongoing compliance with all financial, legal, and statutory obligations, including the upcoming 'Payday Super' requirements.
