Key Responsibilities:

Your role will involve overseeing the daily inventory levels of airline equipment for both Domestic and International operations, while facilitating logistical communications with both internal and external airline partners to guarantee adequate stock for our operational needs.

Your primary duties will include:

  • Conducting daily assessments and restocking of operational area inventories, ensuring proper internal distribution of incoming supplies.
  • Managing offsite storage for frozen goods as part of our expanded facilities.
  • Reporting any damaged or discontinued stock items and notifying relevant airline and customs authorities.
  • Coordinating the schedule for stock deliveries to the kitchen from our storage facilities.
  • Overseeing the method and frequency of stock replenishment from airline partners.
  • Maintaining accurate documentation for customs audits and compliance reports.
  • Monitoring expiration dates of applicable stock and reporting discrepancies.
  • Effectively planning and forecasting equipment orders and inventory levels at both kitchen and third-party logistics locations, particularly during peak holiday periods.
  • Assisting with scheduled airline audits and ensuring all follow-up actions are completed within the designated timeframe.
  • Utilizing the company-specific ERP system to ensure precise data entry.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Valid Forklift License.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of logistics management and production processes, with a solid understanding of the airline catering sector.
  • Proficient in Excel and other relevant software.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to manage challenging situations with professionalism and tact.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Competent in documentation and records management.
  • As this role is within the Aviation Services sector, a clear National Police Check will be required.
