We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced medical science lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching, coordinate units, develop curriculum, and assess student learning in our medical science discipline.
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, laboratories, and practical sessions within the Medical Science discipline.
- Coordinate units, develop curriculum, and assess student learning.
- Pursue research and scholarly activity aligned with your expertise.
- Engage with industry partners to enhance clinical placements and student outcomes.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the next generation of medical science professionals. You will contribute to a wide range of medical science subjects, such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, immunology, and pharmacology.
Essential Qualifications- Doctoral qualification or equivalent in Medical/Biomedical Sciences or a closely related discipline.
- Possession of, or willingness to obtain, a teaching qualification (e.g., Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Teaching/Education).
- Understanding of higher education issues and the ability to collaborate effectively across the institution.
- Demonstrated experience in engaging students and supporting their learning through flexible, multi-modal teaching approaches.
- A strong research record, including publications, with the capacity to contribute to the institution's research initiatives.
