About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Organic Chemist to join our team at our state-of-the-art facility.

This technical role plays a critical part in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of results to our clients. You will work independently to conduct complex analyses using advanced instrumentation and take ownership of your results.

  • Perform sample preparation and complex analyses by due dates and urgency.
  • Interpret and report results with high accuracy, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments for optimal uptime.
  • Monitor chemical and consumable stock levels, maintaining 100% availability.
  • Train junior team members, contributing to a collaborative lab team.
  • Assist with documentation, audits, and continuous improvement in line with ISO and WHSE standards.
Key Responsibilities Summary

The ideal candidate has:

  • A degree in Science (Chemistry or related discipline).
  • 1-2 years of experience in laboratory testing, preferably environmental.
  • Strong practical experience with GC-MS/LC-MS operation and data interpretation.
  • Excellent time management, attention to detail, and independent working skills.
  • Clear communicator with a collaborative approach to working within technical teams.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and attention to detail.
