Job Role:

Geotechnical field services involve delivering optimised solutions to the building and land development industries.

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to join our team in the Northern Sydney region on a full-time permanent basis.

  • Drill and log boreholes using mechanical augers and hand augers.
  • Operate machinery such as ute-mounted drill rigs and percussion tube samplers.
  • Take soil samples and log them in accordance with AS standards.
  • Assist drafting, engineering, and NATA-accredited laboratory teams.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
  • Organise work efficiently and effectively under changing conditions.
Key Skills:
  • Interest in developing fundamental geotechnical knowledge.
  • 1-2 years' experience in a similar role or some site experience (desirable but not essential).
  • Full and valid manual driver's license.
  • Minimum two year's local driving experience.
  • 3.5t towing experience (desirable but not essential).
  • Experience/exposure to operating machinery, ideally ute-mounted drilling rigs.
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of programs.
  • Preferred knowledge of logging procedure in accordance with AS standards.
  • Understanding of AS and AS standards.
  • Industry White Card (essential).
  • Willingness to work outdoors.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Eligibility for full-time work within Australia.
