Job Title: Technical Advisor _Patisserie

This is a full-time on-site role as a Technical Advisor at Sydney, NSW.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Technical Advisor. As a key member of our R&D department, you will be responsible for demonstrating products and concepts to build strong customer relationships, organizing and conducting training sessions, and troubleshooting and resolving customer production issues.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Bakery/Pastry, with a minimum of 3 years combined experience in the industry. They will also possess excellent communication and consulting skills, as well as the ability to translate creative concepts into products.

  • Demonstrate products and concepts to build strong customer relationships.
  • Organize and conduct training sessions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer production issues.
  • Identify customer needs and market trends to create new products.
  • Collaborate with business development teams on recipes and concepts.
  • Contribute to product development with R&D and Marketing.
  • Maintain and develop business by identifying opportunities and threats.
  • Support business development in positioning products and identifying gaps.
  • Help colleagues and customers build technical knowledge.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and trends, sharing insights with the team.
  • Maintain the Innovation Center's organization and cleanliness.
  • Report customer activities in CRM tools.
  • Develop and maintain a network with schools, machinery manufacturers, and professional organizations.
  • Contribute to the internal international technical community.

About You

  • Rights to work Full Time in Australia (AUS Citizen/PR Only).
  • Minimum Tertiary education in Bakery/Pastry.
  • Hands-on experience in Bakery/Patisserie/Chocolate (Min +3 years combined).
  • Knowledge of ingredients, processes, equipment, and finished goods.
  • Ability to translate creative concepts into products.
  • Strong communication and consulting skills.
  • Team player with planning and organization skills willing to share knowledge.
  • Problem-solving ability and flexibility to travel.
