Medical Professional Role Overview

This role provides medical expertise to support product development and marketing, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. You will oversee and coordinate medical/scientific activities within a Specialty Care Business Unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert medical/scientific advice for assigned products and related therapeutic areas, including responding to requests for scientific/technical information.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of assigned product(s) / relevant therapeutic area(s).
  • Establish and maintain professional and credible relationships with key thought leaders / external experts and academic centers.
  • Deliver scientific presentations and medical education programs to healthcare professionals individually or in groups.
  • Screen relevant literature and other information from scientific societies meetings and conferences and develop summaries of key messages.
  • Support clinical research projects within defined standards and budgets.
  • Review promotional and non-promotional material for accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide input into the development of strategic medical affairs plans and local commercial plans.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Medical Degree or Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline or higher.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong commitment to compliance and scientific quality and integrity.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Flexibility and Availability: Be able to participate in business meetings outside of standard hours as needed.
