Medical Trainee

The Department of Health Tasmania has an opening in the Neurosurgery Department for a trainee. As a key member, you will collaborate closely with experienced healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

Duties and Responsibilities- Admit patients and provide high-quality care in the wards
- Care for patients including daily ward rounds, specialist, and registrar ward rounds
- Accurately record drugs and treatment, as well as check and sign result sheets for investigations
- Perform procedures as required and interact with families or carers of hospital patients
General or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia is necessary. Additionally, current Tasmanian Working with Children Registration (where applicable) is required.
