The Role:
As a junior member of our team, you will work under experienced colleagues and learn from their expertise. You will develop efficient and innovative design solutions for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in buildings.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating detailed HVAC design solutions for various building services projects
- Preparing contract documentation for tendering and construction purposes
- Conducting site inspections to review existing services and construction works
- Liaising with equipment suppliers and manufacturers
- Researching new products and HVAC design practices to ensure the company stays up-to-date with the latest technology
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Be degree qualified from a tertiary institution recognized in Australia (B Eng Mechanical or equivalent)
- Have recent graduate experience. Previous work experience in HVAC with an engineering consultancy or contractor would be beneficial
- Be willing to learn and develop your skills
- Be prepared to travel and stay overnight or longer if required
- Hold a valid C class driver's license
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills and sound problem-solving abilities
- Be able to work independently and within a team environment
- Be adaptable and able to seamlessly integrate into our workplace culture
- Demonstrate high professionalism and integrity
