- Expertise in implementing and administering complex, high-assurance systems that are security-focused.
- Experience in building and administering Windows Server environments.
- Storage administration and integration skills with hypervisors (Fibre Channel, Pure Storage, and VMware).

- Defence industry experience.
- Working knowledge of the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) Information Security Manual (ISM).
- Experience implementing server hardening.
- Experience with DevOps / DevSecOps Technologies.
- Experience with Backup Administration (Veeam).
- Working knowledge of networking and firewalls with an understanding of security and segregation techniques.
- Experience delivering using the Scaled Agile approach.
- University Degree or industry certification in the chosen discipline.
- Security+
- ITIL Fundamentals Certification.
