Job Title: Diploma Early Childhood Educator

Location: Rooty Hill

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Diploma Early Childhood Educator to join our team at SDN Beranga Autism Specific Preschool.

About the Role

This is a contracted full-time position in the 2-5 years' space until December 2024. As a Diploma qualified Educator, you will work as part of a team to provide high quality early childhood education and care to children and to support the implementation of an approved learning framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain nurturing relationships with children and communicate positively and openly with them on an ongoing basis.
  • Promote and guide positive behaviour in children.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide a high quality early childhood education and care program.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • Current Working with Children's Check (NSW).
  • Knowledge of the National Quality Standards.
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate.
  • Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (preferable).
  • Excellent relationship building skills.
  • Understanding of Child Protection legislation and holds an approved and current Child Protection Training qualification.
