Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Communications Specialist to join our team at Star Group. As a Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining data cabling and structured cabling infrastructure, conducting installations and fault finding, and performing scheduled and reactive maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation and Maintenance: Install and maintain data cabling and structured cabling infrastructure to ensure high-quality connections and minimal downtime.
  • Installation and Fault Finding: Conduct installations and fault finding of electrical and data communications systems to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform scheduled and reactive maintenance and repairs to ensure optimal system performance and minimize downtime.
  • Client Liaison: Liaise directly with clients to explain activities and provide updates on project progress.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete tasks and paperwork in a timely manner to ensure accurate records and compliance with regulations.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety standards and procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with regulations.

Requirements

  • Qualifications: Valid Electrical Licence and trade qualifications.
  • Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and experience working in a commercial environment.
  • Experience: Ability to work in a team environment, support and assist team members, and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • License: Valid Driver's Licence to attend sites.
