Job Title: Supply Chain Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Transport Coordinator to join our logistics team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating transport operations and ensuring seamless communication between our distribution centre and transport teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Align transport operations with distribution centre strategy to drive efficient supply chain management
  • Manage local freight operations within agreed targets and priorities
  • Provide assistance and advice on local freight requirements to ensure smooth transportation services
  • Implement continuous improvement processes to enhance local freight experience and reduce operational costs
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Federal, State, and Local laws relating to local transport and logistics operations
  • Be the face of the transport team to the distribution centre, ensuring high service ethic and strong communications to support business growth
  • Recommend solutions without compromising service while optimising cost and resource allocation
  • Assist in driving WHS strategy for all departments to embed a safety culture and best practice across the organisation

Requirements:

  • 2 years experience in a Transport Allocation/Coordinator role or similar logistics position
  • Moderate to strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel software applications
  • High attention to detail with strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships
  • Sound time management & problem-solving skills with ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proactive and solutions focused individual with excellent communication skills
  • Able to work in a high/fast-paced pressure environment with multiple stakeholders

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 6:30pm
