Job Opportunity

Powertech, a leading electrical engineering services provider, is seeking a skilled professional to join their team as a Transformer Servicing Specialist. This exciting opportunity involves delivering exceptional results to clients in the mining, oil and gas, utilities, renewable energy, and defence sectors across the Australasia region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert technical support, project management, and client liaison. Key responsibilities include:

  • Achieving deliverables outlined in the 'transformer services' business plan.
  • Acting as the technical authority for 'transformer services' for internal/external stakeholders.
  • Project managing all assigned projects, including invoicing, approving timesheets, job costs, etc.
  • Preparing estimates and detailed scopes of supply for RFQ/RFT.
  • Preparing, planning, and coordinating work schedules and activities for projects covering installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of HV transformer installations.
  • Preparing detailed technical reports with recommendations and arranging necessary actions.
  • Interpreting analytical data and final review and sign-off of all technical documentation.
  • Ensuring ongoing development of standard work procedures, test reports, etc.
  • Ensuring client requirements are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Internal liaison with the business development team.
