Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Food Services Assistant to join our hospitality team on a casual basis.

The ideal candidate will take pride in their work, have a friendly and positive attitude towards customer service and strive for excellence in delivering exceptional care.

  • Assist in daily food preparation and meal assembly
  • Deliver, serve and collect all patient food requirements and meal trays
  • Participate in general cleaning of kitchen equipment and utensils including dish and pot washing as required
  • Contribute to a professional and positive team culture by promoting a collaborative environment
  • Provide outstanding customer service to staff, clients and patients
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety
  • Have demonstrated ongoing commitment to professional development and growth
  • Authority to Work in Australia
  • Working with Children check (if relevant)
  • Previous experience in Hospitality (an advantage)
  • Certificate III in Hospitality or equivalent qualification
  • Demonstrated knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
