Job Title: Compliance Risk Analyst
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled risk analyst to drive or work as a team member on investment suitability and cross-border controls review and testing of our Global Wealth Management division.
- Analyse and assess risks arising from business and support functions, ensuring the effectiveness of our processes and controls.
- Identify and evaluate control design, implementation, and effectiveness in addressing these risks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and test investment suitability and cross-border controls across the GWM division.
- Assess and mitigate risks through data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Collaborate with teams to identify areas for process improvement.
Requirements:
- 3-4 years' experience in external or internal audit or compliance controls testing within the financial industry.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to apply quantitative approaches to problem-solving.
- Able to quickly understand complex processes, challenge status quo, and identify risks and inadequacies.
- Willingness to stay up-to-date with industry and regulatory developments.
- Effective communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Risk-focused approach using data analytics (Alteryx, Microsoft PowerBi, Tableau) to gain insights into business trends and identify outliers.
