Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Home Lending Specialist to join our Mortgage Choice team. This role offers a unique opportunity to grow your career while making a real impact on customers' lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and accurate responses to customer inquiries throughout the lending cycle
  • Reach expected settlement targets while maintaining a high customer satisfaction rate
  • Identify and pursue additional product sales opportunities from clients, including asset finance, personal finance, commercial lending, and general insurance referrals
  • Ensure administrative tasks are completed efficiently, adhering to Mortgage Choice standards and industry compliance guidelines
  • Stay up-to-date with lender accreditation sessions, maintain CPD points, and possess accurate knowledge of lenders' products, policies, and service levels
  • Foster relationships with business partners, such as Real Estate Agents, Business Lenders, and Insurance providers, to develop revenue-generating opportunities
  • Utilize problem-solving skills and product expertise to address customer queries and strengthen internal and external stakeholder relationships

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience in Home Lending or related fields, preferably in a sales-based environment, with a minimum 3 years of current home loan lending experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, allowing for clear and concise term explanations
  • Proven track record in achieving sales results and business development skills
  • Confidence in conducting home loan health checks and cold-calling activities
  • Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking or equivalent, along with MFAA or FBAA accreditation, is highly desirable
  • Able to adapt to changes in technology and processes while delivering high-quality work
  • Flexibility to accommodate after-hours customer interactions when required
